About the event
Join Trish Chirumbole to tune into your Psoas - One of the most important muscles for biomechanically healthy dynamic movement AND a critical link to signaling safety to our nervous system and unwinding chronic holding patterns of fear & constriction.
We will both release & strengthen this vital connector between our spine and our lower body, supporting us in fluid and powerful movement into & out of the floor.
We will learn basic contemporary floorwork techniques & sequences inspired by the Axis Syllabus & Soft Acro modalities and apply them in improvisational investigations.
This is an introductory class, suitable for those who can comfortably enter and exit the floor repeatedly. The principles we will apply will support all levels in moving with greater efficiency, power, and joint safety.
